This project provided an in-depth analysis of AMC Theatres by utilizing SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and PESTEL (Political, Economic, Sociocultural, Technological, Environmental, Legal) frameworks. The objective was to assess the company’s current standing in the industry, identify its key strengths and vulnerabilities, and explore external factors affecting its market position. Additionally, Porter’s Five Forces analysis was used to evaluate AMC’s competitive environment and the pressure from various market forces.

  1. What are AMC’s core strengths and weaknesses in the current cinema industry landscape?

  2. How do external factors like economic shifts and consumer preferences impact AMC’s business model?
